Access to Value Line has ended

Access to Value Line through the Lebanon County Libraries has ended. Low usage and the uncertain financial future led to the decision not to renew this resource. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Curbside pickup begins June 8th

Curbside pickup is now available!

To request library materials, you have three options. You will need your library card.

  1. Visit and request items. Make sure your pickup library is Lebanon.
  2. Call us at 717-273-7624 ext 2 during curbside pickup hours.
  3. Email us at

When each item becomes available for you, you will receive an email/text/phone call (according to your stated preference). While our computer system is not able to hold the notification until all of your items are ready, if you prefer to wait until several items are ready for pickup, please call or email us. We will hold your items up to 3 days while we wait for other items to become available. Please note that due to our quarantine policy (see below), we may not have all of your items ready for you at the same time.

Our curbside pickup hours are:

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 10am – 4pm
Tuesdays and Thursdays 1-7pm
Saturdays 10am – 1pm

When you arrive at the library, please call us at 717-273-7624 ext 2. We will check your items out to you, bring them outside, and place them where you may retrieve them. Please wait behind the line. If you will need to pay a fine, you must wear a mask. Please return all library materials in the bookdrop even if a staff member is bringing other materials out to you.

UPDATE (6.24.2020): Our quarantine procedure has been updated based on new research results which specifically tested the viability of the COVID-19 virus on common library materials. View the results here:
Returned materials will now be quarantined 3 days (instead of 7), resulting in a faster turnaround time for the books you can’t wait to read!
Our procedure will still be to place materials in quarantine BEFORE checking them in for the safety of our staff, so you will still see your returned materials on your online account for 3 days. Please be assured that fines will not be charged for materials returned on or before their due date.
Our libraries continue offering curbside service. The libraries do not yet have a reopening date, but we will keep you posted! When we do reopen, properly-worn masks (covering the mouth and nose) will be required, along with other social distancing precautions.
Thank you! We’re thrilled to see you all curbside!

Library staff are wearing masks, practicing good hand hygiene, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces while we handle your library materials. Materials will be placed in a bag before being brought outside to you. Please follow CDC-recommended precautions when using library materials.

The library will NOT be open to the public until further notice.

We appreciate your patience while we work to bring this service to you, while continuing to keep everyone safe as best we can. We look forward to seeing you curbside!

We’ve extended all due dates while we were closed until July 1st. Now that we’re offering curbside pickup, you can also return your library materials! All materials borrowed before March 15th are now due July 1st. Please return materials in the outdoor book drop.
Can’t make it in before the 1st? No problem! Call us at 717-273-7624 ext 2 to renew! Call during curbside hours please, or email us at with your card number and renewal instructions. Thanks!
