For 100 years, the Lebanon Community Library has quietly shaped the story of an entire community.
It’s where a child discovers their very first book—and with it, a lifelong love of learning. It’s where students find a safe place to study, job seekers search for new opportunities, and families come together for connection, creativity, and growth. It’s where curiosity is sparked, knowledge is shared, and futures begin.
In 2025 alone, more than 92,000 visitors walked through the library’s doors. Nearly 48,000 print books and over 21,000 digital resources were borrowed, while 42,000+ children’s items helped ignite young imaginations . The library hosted 383 programs, welcoming 6,800+ attendees—each one a moment of learning, connection, or inspiration .
And perhaps most remarkable of all: this impact comes at a cost of just $4.56 per year for the average household.

That’s not just efficiency—it’s extraordinary value.

But the Lebanon Community Library is more than numbers. It’s a cornerstone of opportunity. It provides free access to technology, with thousands of public computer and WiFi sessions each year. It offers programs that bring people together across generations. It stands as one of the few places where everyone—regardless of age, income, or background—belongs.
As Lebanon County continues to grow, so does the need for spaces like this. Spaces that educate, connect, and uplift. Spaces that ensure no one is left behind in an increasingly digital and fast-moving world.
This is why your support matters.
The 100 Year Century Celebration is more than a milestone—it’s a turning point. It’s an opportunity for individuals and businesses to invest in the next century of impact. To ensure that the library not only continues its mission but expands it—reaching more people, offering more resources, and strengthening the fabric of our community.
When you sponsor this event, you do more than support a celebration. You open doors for a student in need of a quiet place to succeed. You spark a child’s journey into reading. You bring families together. You help build the workforce of tomorrow—and a stronger community for us all.
